Undergraduates students working in world renowned research groups in the school have contributed to research that has been presented at national and international conferences, and published in leading scholarly journals. For example:
• Undergraduate Gene Henry’s research with Professor Jean Lynch-Steigliz on searching for abrupt circulation shifts in marine isotopes was presented at the American Geophysical Union meeting in San Francisco, CA.
• Grant Farmer appeared as a coauthor on the paper “Interface Locking along the Subduction Megathrust from Microseismicity near Nicoya, Costa Rica,” published in the Journal Geophysical Research Letters.
• In addition to his studies at Tech, Keaton Belli completed an internship with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and an international research internship in Cottbus, Germany.
